• 1 can of black beans

  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1 lime juiced
  • a pinch of salt to season
  • handful of cilantro

i cooked a lot this weekend. we made all sorts of goodies…lots of snacks, especially since we were stuck indoors. i think we pretty much ate all weekend long. my kids love tortilla chips, e loves them even more, so when he broke out the salsa this weekend i thought bean dip.

we all love beans here so a bean dip is a great way to get some protein in during the day when all you want to do is snack. not only is it healthy, but it tastes great.

labor day weekend is coming up, the end of summer basically. we usually do a lot of entertaining, family usually comes over as well as friends. i have been trying to come up with not only a menu for dinner’s and lunches but snacks to satisfy the crowd before we sit down.

this is one of my favorite bean dip recipes. it’s easy and it’s good. everyone will be impressed.

easy black bean dip

  1. get out your food processor and in 2 easy steps, you have bean dip.
  2. open and drain your can of beans, add too food processor with the rest of the ingredients and pulse.
  3. spoon into a bowl and serve with your favorite chips.

the best thing about this dip, there is more to it then just dip. you can use it for nachos or even tostada’s.
