peaches.
yum. right? it’s peach season! the peaches are here. they are here…big sigh.
what does that mean? well…
here’s a few ideas: peach salad, grilled peaches, ice pops, peach ice cream, salsa, bbq sauce, peaches with ricotta, peaches with thyme, peaches with well, here…a smoothie!
a simple breakfast or really any part of the day smoothie. peaches with yogurt, milk, honey….cool, refreshing and oh so healthy for those eat and run kids that we all have during these hot summer months.
peaches and cream smoothie
- 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup 1% milk
- 2 peaches
- 1 tbl honey
- handful of ice
- to blender add yogurt, milk, sliced peaches (skin too), ice and honey.
- blend.
looking for something more tart? add greek yogurt instead.
Awesome! I am making protein smoothies every morning with fruits for breakfast and this is another option.
