i’ve seen people do this…but i have no love for rosemary. i just don’t like it. the overpowering taste, the texture, i just don’t like it. something. something is just not right with it.
a hint, sure why not, but put a sprig of rosemary on my plate and i will go bezerk. as in, push the plate aside and refuse to eat. i’ve done it before. i won’t lie. it’s embarrassing, but i do it.
the weird thing is that i grow it. i like the smell in my garden. i like to run my hands through it while i water. i like the way it looks. i refuse to use it however so it grows crazy and i just sit and admire it’s beauty.
and then i got this idea. what if i used it as a skewer. could i stomach it? could i do it? should i even chance ruining a good dinner…
i might do it again. really. i might (i will what am i talking about).
easy, simple, served over a salad with fresh market bread.
think chicken would work?

Rosemary skewers with lamb are very popular over here;)

Jen, try this recipe for chimichurri, it’s great with oregano.

Not a huge fan of rosemary either, but I so love shrimp skewers! Just never did it with rosemary as the skewers.
